Personal Information and Preferences

Your email account will expire within one year of graduating. Ensure your personal information is up to date with the Alumni Relations office to remain connected to your alumni benefits, services and other opportunities.

You can update your contact information on our website at https://brocku.ca/alumni/update-contact-info/.

Throughout the year, we promote special offers, contests, news, events, and exciting opportunities exclusively available to Brock graduates, among other things. Take advantage of the benefits available to you as a member of the Brock University Alumni Association!

To remove yourself completely from our mailing, email, and/or call list, please contact alumni@brocku.ca and we will update the opt-outs on your alumni record accordingly.

You can also click the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of alumni emails that you wish to no longer receive.

The moment you earn a degree, diploma or certificate from Brock University you automatically become a member of the Brock University Alumni Association. There are no fees to join.

This membership grants you access to exclusive opportunities and benefits available to our graduates, special alumni events, professional development opportunities and more throughout your life after attending Brock.

Due to privacy laws, we cannot share our graduates’ personal contact information with others, however, we can try to make contact on your behalf. To help us help you, please email alumni@brocku.ca and provide as much information about the person you are trying to contact and we will try to find them in our database and reach out on your behalf, with your permission.

It will be up to your classmate to get in touch, if they wish.

Presented annually by the Brock University Alumni Association (BUAA), in collaboration with Brock’s Alumni Relations office, Faculty Deans and Co-op, Career, and Experiential Education, the distinguished alumni awards program recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of a few graduates in various categories. To learn more about each award, eligibility requirements and past recipients, visit https://brocku.ca/alumni/awards/.

If you or someone you know is a worthy candidate, please complete our nomination form online at https://brocku.ca/alumni/awards/. The annual awards nomination cycle runs from September 1 through January 31 each year.

You can find a list of upcoming events on our website at https://brocku.ca/alumni/events/. If your contact information is up to date with our office, you’ll also receive updates on events and other opportunities as they become available throughout the year.

Yes, we occasionally host events outside of the Niagara region. We also host webinars on various topics that anyone can attend. To view on-demand recordings of past webinars, visit https://brocku.ca/alumni/webinars/.

Homecoming is our biggest annual alumni celebration and is hosted in September every year. Check your email for your save the date each spring! Visit the website at https://brocku.ca/homecoming.

Surgite (sur-gi-tay), latin for “Push On”.

Surgite is an alumni magazine that celebrates Brock University and promotes the success of our graduates in the Niagara region and beyond. The magazine is published twice a year in June and December. Surgite is mailed and emailed to alumni and friends of Brock University through the Alumni Relations office.

Alumni Benefits and Services

Brock graduates are entitled to a growing list of benefits and services. Learn more about alumni benefits and services that are currently available here.

Our alumni can enjoy continued access to on-campus services including the Walker Complex and access to the Brock University Library either in-person or select online resources.

Alumni can also access CareerZone services within their first year of graduating.

Yes! As a Brock graduate, you are welcome to access the Brock University Library in-person or select online resources with the presentation of your alumni card. Yes, the Brock University Alumni Association offers one undergraduate award to a child of a Brock graduate and supports one graduate-level award as well. Apply online through OneApp on the Student Accounts & Financial Aid website.

Alumni Card

Alumni cards are used to identify individuals as confirmed graduates of Brock University so they can access on and off-campus benefits, services, discounts, and more.

To access some alumni benefits, services, or discounts you may be required to present your alumni card as identification. For example, you will need to present your alumni card at the Brock library in order to gain library privileges as a Brock graduate.

To request your alumni card, please get in touch with alumni@brocku.ca with the following information to support the validation of your Brock record:

  • your full name (if different, also include your full name at the time of graduation)
  • graduation year and program, and
  • contact information (email, current mailing address, and phone number).

No, we will send a replacement card to you for free. Replacement cards are printed in batches and mailed out once per month.

Diploma and Transcript Support

The Brock Campus Store offers a selection of diploma frames that are available for purchase in-store or online at https://campusstore.brocku.ca/.

Following Convocation, you may order a copy of your diploma or certificate. To request a duplicate or replacement diploma, please visit https://brocku.ca/registrar/toolkit/forms/#requests for instructions.

If you do not remember your Student ID Number, or have trouble logging into your portal, please contact Brock Central at The Registrar’s Office at 905-688-5550 x3052.

All transcripts are issued electronically via MyCreds through the Office of the Registrar. Please visit https://brocku.ca/registrar/toolkit/transcripts/ for more details.

Other Resources

Alumni can access CareerZone to view job postings (on- and off-campus), online workshops and other resources. In order to access CareerZone you must have a valid Brock ID and password.

Alumni who no longer have an active login must reactivate their account by going to my.brocku.ca. For more information, contact Career Education at career@brocku.ca for assistance.
