To qualify for the Early Bird Rate for Spring or Spring/Summer, your application and your $250 application fee payment must be received on or before the deadline of March 1, 2026 by 12PM noon.

The majority of students will be assigned to a single bedroom in Quarry View Residence.  The exact location of your room assignment will be released at a later date.

Students who are assigned to a room in Gateway Suites for Fall 2026 will be placed directly in that room for the Spring/Summer term when possible.

Spring/Summer fees include the following:

• all utilities
• wi-fi
• local phone and active cable TV outlet in living room
• air conditioning
• parking
• fully furnished room
• appliances (fridge, microwave and full stove)
• Quarry View laundry access (pay-per-use)
• 24/7 Service Desk

Room confirmation process

• Room assignments will be sent out in March.  You will receive an email and see it on your Housing HUB.   You will need to confirm your room assignment before it expires.
• New applications are reviewed within 10 business days.

Housing Fees

• Fees will be loaded to onto your student account on or after April 1.  Your fees will be paid to your student account.  Learn more about how to make a payment.
• For those arriving later in the term, your fees will be loaded onto your student account 21 days prior to your check-in date .

To cancel your application visit your Housing HUB and select Request Forms to initiate your Cancellation Request.

Cancellations received prior to April 1 will receive a full refund of the $250 application fee.

Cancellations on or after April 1 will forfeit the $250 application fee.

Withdrawal on or after your scheduled arrival date (even if you have never moved in), will result in paying a per diem charge for the nights stayed in residence and a $375 withdrawal fee. If there are extenuating circumstances, appeals can be sent to [email protected] and must include appropriate supporting documentation.

Brock University – Spring/Summer Residence Agreement

Please read this agreement carefully. If you do not understand any of the terms or are not willing to abide by them, DO NOT sign this agreement and contact Housing Services at [email protected].

Parking in the spring and summer is included in a lot in the vicinity the residence you are assigned.  Information about how to register your vehicle will be sent prior to your arrival date.

If you have a friend(s) you would like to share with, you will be able to create a friendship group and invite your friend(s) within the Housing Services Hub during the application process or after in the Hub. For the best chance of having your friendship group confirmed, please ensure that your application is for the same academic term and the selections/preferences on your applications match (e.g., room style ranking, lifestyle preference, etc.).

Townhouses

Students have the economical option of cooking for themselves when they live in a townhouse residence. Up to four guests share a common kitchen for preparing meals. You will need to bring your own dinnerware and cookware.

Do you require linens?  You can order from Residence Linens and have it delivered right to your room in time for your arrival on campus.

This year you can submit an Early Arrival request on your Request Hub (available 2-5 business days after you have applied for Spring/Summer Housing) to bridge your housing contract from the winter term to the spring term. Students living in DeCew, Vallee, Earp, Residence 8, Lowenberger, Village and Blocks 1&2 of Quarry View (Residence) will also need to submit an extended stay request if you are scheduled to depart before April 23, 2026.  Students living in Gateway and Blocks 3, 4, 5 & 6 in Quarry View (Brock Suites) will not need to complete an extended stay request.

Students that wish to request to arrive before their Spring/Summer session dates are able to submit an early arrival request in the Housing Hub.  A completed Spring/Summer application is required in order to access the request form. There is an additional fee of $21/night. Current students wishing to bridge their contracts must also submit this request. 

The early arrival request will be open to you 2-5 business days after submitting your Spring/Summer housing application. For May 1 arrivals, requests must be received by April 1, 2026 or they will be subject to a $50 administrative fee. Early arrival requests cancelled after April 22, 2026 will be charged all of the nights of the early arrival request. 

IELP early arrival request – Early arrival requests made after April 10, 2026 are subject to a $50 administrative charge. Early arrival requests cancelled within one week of arrival will be charged all of the nights of the early arrival request.  

SELP early arrival request – Early arrival requests made after June 5, 2026 are subject to a $50 administrative charge. Early arrival requests cancelled within one week of arrival will be charged all of the nights of the early arrival request.  

Steps to submit a request:

• Go to the Housing Services Hub. (It is essential that your browser is set to enable pop-ups/cookies).
• Click Login and then “Brock Student SSO”
• Login using your Brock username and password.
• Select “Request Forms”
• Select the application period of “2026 Spring and Summer” 
• Follow the prompts and upload any required supporting documentation that you have (requests may not be processed without supporting documentation)
