When selecting your student housing dates, make sure they fall within the date range for the course period you wish to apply for.
To qualify for the Early Bird Rate for Spring or Spring/Summer, your application and your $250 application fee payment must be received on or before the deadline of March 10, 2025 by 12PM noon.
You will be assigned to a single bedroom in Quarry View Residence. The exact location of your room assignment will be released at a later date.

2025 Spring Summer Fees*
All fees will be charged to your Student Financial History (excluding students registering in accelerated courses, those fees will be payable at check-in).
Spring/Summer fees include the following:
- all utilities
- wi-fi
- local phone and active cable TV outlet in living room
- air conditioning
- parking
- fully furnished room
- appliances (fridge, microwave and full stove)
- Lowenberger or Quarry View laundry access (pay-per-use)
- 24/7 Service Desk
Room offer process
- For those arriving for Spring Courses (April 28), room offers will be sent out in March. You will receive an email and see it on your Housing HUB. You will need to accept your room offered before it expires.
- New applications are reviewed within 10 business days.
Housing Fees
- Fees will be loaded to onto your student account on or after April 1. Your fees will be paid to your student account. Learn more about how to make a payment.
- For those arriving later in the term, your fees will be loaded onto your student account 21 days prior to your check-in date .
Insurance is required by students living in residence. If you are already a residence student for the 2024/25 academic year you have already paid this fee and there is no additional cost. For new housing students for 2024/25, the cost for the Spring/Summer term is $45.90 ($42.50 + PST). The opt-out date is May 15, 2024. This fee will be applied at the same time as your residence fees. To cancel your application visit your Housing HUB and select Request Forms to initiate your Cancellation Request.
Cancellations received prior to April 1 (Spring arrival) and prior to June 15 (Summer arrival) will receive a full refund of the $250 application fee.
Cancellations after the room confirmation is sent out will forfeit the $250 application fee.
Cancellation on or after your scheduled arrival date (even if you have never moved in), you will be responsible for paying the residence fee in full. If there are extenuating circumstances, you can submit an appeal. Appeals can be sent to housing@brocku.ca and must include appropriate supporting documentation.

Parking in the spring and summer is included in a lot in the vicinity the residence you are assigned. Students will need to register their own vehicle through Parking Services. This information would be sent prior to your arrival date.
This is possible but this starts with you and your friend’s Housing application. If you have a friend coming to Brock and you would like to share with that person, you will be able to create a friendship group and invite your friends within the Housing Services Hub during the application process or after in the Hub. For the best chance of having your friendship group confirmed, please ensure that your application is for the same academic term and the selections/preferences on your applications match (e.g., room style ranking, lifestyle preference, etc.).
Townhouses
Students have the economical option of cooking for themselves when they live in a townhouse residence. Up to four guests share a common kitchen for preparing meals. You will need to bring your own dinnerware and cookware.
