Start off the year with a comprehensive full-day workshop designed for community conductors and music teachers. Explore effective strategies for building choral sound and nurturing community spirit through creative rehearsal techniques, supportive conducting gestures, and thoughtful repertoire selection practices.
FEE – $75 (includes lunch and refreshments). Registration is now open through Brock University Tickets.

Winter Conductor Retreat
Revitalize your conducting gestures & explore rehearsal techniques

Friday, Jan. 17 – Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025 (Beginning on Friday at 7 p.m. until Sunday at 3 p.m.)

Enjoy a mid-season boost of choral learning and reflection through informal conducting masterclasses and group discussions. The Avanti Chamber Singers will form part of the ensemble and retreat attendees will be welcomed to experiment with their conducting gestures and rehearsal skills in a supportive environment.
FEE – $175 (includes Saturday & Sunday lunch and refreshments). Registration opens Aug. 15, 2024.
