MEDIA RELEASE – Nov. 4, 2026 — R0100
From programs designed to create career-ready grads to supports dedicated to enhancing student success, thousands of prospective students will get a first-hand look at all Brock has to offer during the University’s Fall Preview Day.
Faculty, staff and student volunteers will welcome future Badgers and their families to campus on Sunday, Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a day of immersive tours and information sessions.
In addition to giving high school applicants a glimpse into the Brock experience, the day includes valuable information for transfer and mature students. For those hoping to start their studies soon, the University offers more than 90 programs beginning in January that will also be highlighted at the event.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to campus and letting them see for themselves what their life would be like as a Badger,” says Carly Dugo, Senior Recruitment Officer, Events and Operations.
Attendees can build their own schedule for the day based on their personal priorities and interests.
From program-specific and residence information sessions to those focused on finance and scholarships, co-op and experiential education or getting involved on campus, all aspects of the student experience are covered.
Drop-in campus tours will take place throughout the day, with guided hot spot tours featuring the east and west sides of campus, the Goodman School of Business and Brock Sports and Recreation.
Afternoon tours will also be offered at the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts in downtown St. Catharines, with a shuttle bus departing from the main campus at 1 p.m. and returning at 2:45 p.m.
Dugo says this variety allows visitors the opportunity to enjoy a tour tailored to their individual interests, whether they’d like to explore the whole campus or specific areas.
Residence tours will also be offered on a drop-in basis, highlighting various housing and room styles and the benefits of each.
Those looking to get a taste of Brock Dining Services options can buy lunch at DeCew and Lowenberger dining halls to sample the selection. Each will have booths where guests can meet Brock’s on-site dietitian, Red Seal chefs and other members of the Dining Services team.
The Information Fair in Ian D. Beddis Gymnasium will feature more than 75 booths with faculty, staff and student representatives answering questions about everything from extracurriculars and academic supports to admissions, scholarships and awards.
