Engineering is pleased to offer the Laura Sabia Scholarship in STEM and Engineering for Women

Undergraduate

This scholarship will be made to three entering undergraduate students and three entering graduate students at Brock University who identify as female. As the recruitment for the Yousef Haj-Ahmad Department of Engineering develops, six scholarships can be granted to students studying Science, Technology and Mathematics. Once recruitment is in place for students entering the Yousef HajAhmad Department of Engineering, three awards will be granted to students studying engineering and three scholarships will be granted to students studying Science, Technology and Mathematics.

Graduate

This scholarship will be made to three entering graduate students at Brock University who identify as female. As the recruitment for the Yousef Haj-Ahmad Department of Engineering develops, four scholarships can be granted to students studying Science, Technology and Mathematics. Once recruitment is in place for students entering the Yousef Haj-Ahmad Department of Engineering, two awards will be granted to students studying engineering and two scholarships will be granted to students studying Science, Technology and Mathematics.

Outline for the Laura Sabia Scholarship

Bosch Rexroth Canada Bursary

Undergraduate

This award will be made to an entering undergraduate student at Brock University who demonstrates high levels of leadership in the community and who are entering their first year. The award will alternate each year, starting with the Goodman School of Business and then the Yousef Haj-Ahmed Department of Engineering. Preference will be given to children/grandchildren of Bosch Rexroth Canada Corporation employees.  Please indicate your affiliation with Bosch Rexroth Canada Corp. within your application comments. As per the terms of the OTSS program, applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) residency requirements.   Preference will be given next to qualified applicants entering the first year of a program in the Goodman School of Business or Engineering (dependent on which year/department the award is allocated to.)  The recipient must meet Ontario residency requirements.
