Our in-person welcome event is your opportunity to familiarize yourself with Brock’s beautiful campus with help from staff and student guides. Come and learn all about Brock with other new international students like you!

International Orientation FAQs
Students should plan to attend both orientations as they provide different information, all of which is essential to starting your term successfully.
Students can expect to receive an email outlining both the virtual orientation and in-person welcome events, along with links to the ExperienceBU so they can RSVP.
In the weeks following, you will receive an email reminder and information about submitting your photo to the Brock Card Office so that you can pick up your student card once you arrive on campus.
No, there is no dress code. Please come dressed comfortably and weather-appropriate.
We strongly encourage you to participate in all of Brock International’s orientation events. They’re an important opportunity to learn about Brock, get ready for your studies, meet our team and start connecting with other students.
We understand that unexpected circumstances, such as a flight cancellation, may prevent you from attending. If you’re unable to attend orientation, plan to join our Global Connections Meet & Greet early in the term. You’ll have a chance to catch up on important information, meet Brock International staff and begin building connections with other Brock students.
If you have a conflict with your residence move-in time, consent training or another required Brock event, please let us know. We want to help you participate in everything you need to get off to a great start at Brock!
