Recipients must accept their offer of admission, pay the tuition deposit, meet all admission conditions, register as full-time, fee-paying international undergraduate students, and reside in Brock residence during the Winter 2027 term.
Seven-day meal plan for the Winter 2027 semester, from January 3 to April 22, 2027. Estimated value: approximately $7,755 per student.
Award recipients will be guaranteed residence accommodation equivalent to a Village Residence double room for the Winter 2027 semester. Residence room assignments are subject to availability and are managed by Residence Services. Recipients may be assigned to a room with a student already residing in residence from the Fall 2026 term.
Any costs associated with room upgrades or alternative residence room types will be the responsibility of the student.
Recipients will be selected through a competitive application process based on:
- Interest in community engagement and involvement
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to create authentic and engaging digital content
- Enthusiasm for sharing the Brock experience with future students
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as they are received, from August 1 to December 31, 2026. Brock University reserves the right to reallocate awards if recipients decline their offers, fail to meet admission requirements, do not obtain a study permit, or do not enrol in January 2027.
Recipients will be expected to contribute a minimum of 20 volunteer hours during the 2027 calendar year, including:
- Creating social media content
- Sharing their first winter and residence experiences
- Participating in webinars and virtual information sessions
- Speaking with prospective students and families
- Hosting campus tours
- Supporting recruitment and yield events
- Showcasing student life and campus experiences through digital storytelling
