Spring Convocation 2024

Spring Convocation will be held in-person the week of June 10th to 14th, 2024

Faculty registration will open March 2024.

Faculty Registration

  1. Login to the Brock portal.
  2. Open BrockDB.
  3. Click on Employee Access.
  4. Click on ConvocationRegn.
  5. Fill out the form. We are happy to assist you should you encounter any problems. Please email convocation@brocku.ca for assistance or any questions.

Convocation ceremonies are held in the Ian Beddis Gymnasium, Walker Complex. See the Convocation Schedule for a complete breakdown of each faculty schedule

Faculty Gowning

Faculty gowning will take place in the Dance Studio (beside the welcome desk in the Walker Complex)  thirty (30) minutes before the ceremony start time.

Regalia

If you wish to borrow Brock regalia please indicate your regalia needs on your Brock registration form. It will be reserved for you and available in the Dance Studio. Please return regalia immediately following the ceremony. If you are a bedel volunteer, you will receive an email about your role closer to the date of the ceremony.

Faculty Hooding Volunteers

New this year, Brock University will be hooding Undergraduate Graduands in the Bob Davis Gymnasium before the procession in to the Ian Beddis Gymnasium. To help make this time as celebratory and special for our Undergraduate Students, we are asking Faculty to volunteer to help hood students as a final send off before they graduate.

Faculty are welcome to participate in the Undergraduate Hooding and still participate in the Faculty Procession (please ensure you register for the procession separately from the hooding form).
