Fall Convocation 2026

Convocation is a special time to celebrate your achievements with family and friends, and we look forward to celebrating with you on October 16, 2026!

Graduates: Please confirm your ceremony time on the “Intent to Graduate” page in your Brock Student Portal. Review other pre-ceremony information on the Graduands page.

Guest Limits

Due to limited seating in Convocation Hall, and to provide equal opportunity to all graduates attending their ceremony, graduating students will be limited to two guests.

New for Fall 2026

Guest Ticket Claim Process

All eligible graduating students are entitled to two (2) complimentary guest tickets for their Convocation ceremony. These tickets are not automatically issued and must be reserved by each graduating student no later than Thursday, October 8 at 11:59 p.m.

Any unclaimed tickets will be released and made available beginning Friday, October 9 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) for graduating students wishing to bring additional guests, subject to venue capacity and ticket availability.

Please note that additional guest tickets cannot be guaranteed. Further details regarding the additional ticket request process will be shared following the initial reservation period. Please check back for updates prior to October 8.

Important: Each ticket contains a unique barcode and may only be used by one guest. Once scanned, a ticket becomes invalid. Sharing, duplicating, or distributing copies of tickets may result in admission issues or delays. Please ensure that each guest receives their own unique ticket.

Additional friends and family can join the celebration too! All Convocation ceremonies will be livestreamed online at brocku.ca/livestream.

Graduating Fall 2026?

Have you submitted your Intent to Graduate application?

All graduating students must apply to graduate to have your degree awarded, and to be recognized at convocation. Please review the Graduand Information webpage for important deadlines, eligibility requirements and other helpful resources about your Intent to Graduate application.

The deadline to submit an Intent to Graduate application is July 1, 2026. Please email [email protected] if you would like to learn more about submitting an Intent to Graduate application.

Please ensure that your address and phone number are up to date in the Brock Student Portal. Provide your complete mailing address, as diplomas are delivered by courier and require a signature upon delivery. Post office (P.O.) boxes cannot be used for diploma deliveries.

About Convocation

Convocation marks the culmination of your Brock journey. It is a time to recognize your hard work, academic accomplishments, and the experiences that have shaped your university career.

Surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and fellow graduates, you will celebrate this important achievement and your transition from student to Brock alumnus.

Convocation ceremonies are held each year in the spring and fall.
