The Digital Marketing Micro-credential at Brock is an 8-week online program with live and virtual learning using simulated environments for immediate feedback on developing search and display ad campaigns, and real-life situation assignments.
Upon completion of studying Digital Marketing at Brock, learners will be able to use the fundamentals of digital marketing and apply them to successfully designing and managing websites for small and mid-sized business. Build and deploy a digital marketing strategy that will help that business grow with hands on knowledge of using Google Analytics, Social Media Marketing strategy, and Shopify. Learners will also obtain Brock Digital Media Marketing Certificate of Completion and a Shopify Digital Marketing Badge after successful completion of the entire micro-credential.

This course uses online advertising simulation tool called Mimic Pro Simulation which provides learners with live feedback on creating search, display, and shopping ad campaigns.

|Introduction to Digital Marketing||Learn the concepts of Digital Marketing and how it differs from traditional marketing tactics. Use this knowledge to build a marketing plan.|

|Customer Journey & Content Marketing||Using the fundamentals gained from Introduction to Digital Marketing, research and build a customer journey. Using customer profiles, create a content calendar and execution strategy.|

Laptop: Windows 10 or higher or equivalent operating system with recommended 8 GB of RAM and at least 16 GB of free hard disk space and Wi-Fi capabilities.

Access to reliable high-speed broadband internet access (Cable, DSL, LTE) with a minimum bandwidth of 15 Mbps is recommended.
Laptop must include integrated webcam and microphone.

For the May 4, 2023 intake, asynchronous (ASYNC) learning will become available May 1. Subsequent modules will be available every following week on Thursdays.
The first Synchronous (SYNC) session will begin on Thursday May, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and occur every Thursday until the last SYNC session will occur on Thursday, June 22, 2023. SYNC sessions will be recorded. Attendance is not mandatory.
