Many groups, be they faculty, staff or students, host research-related events on campus each year.
The Brock-Canada Games Research Series is an initiative whereby the Brock Canada Games Academic Committee collaborates with hosts to integrate any aspect of the Games, no matter what the discipline or context, into their existing event.
The purpose of this initiative is to support existing event hosts, such as Faculties, department or centres, who already stage a research-oriented event either individually or in cooperation with a community partner, and to promote Brock research.
At the moment, plans are underway to develop a 2021-2022 ‘Research Event Series’ for the year leading up to the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games.
If you host a research event and are interested in adding a Games related theme to your program then please contact Julie Stevens, Special Advisor to the President – Canada Games.
We welcome all ideas – the Games connect to every discipline on campus!
