Every day our Faculty and students undertake research to uncover new and important knowledge and offer the evidence to base health policy and practice.
We teach to communicate what we discover and we reach out to many different communities in Niagara and around the world to make a healthy difference in people’s lives.
The research being conducted in Applied Health Sciences by almost 100 faculty spans the disciplines of biophysical sciences and social sciences, and explores areas related to behaviour and population health, human movement, advanced data analytics, and more.
Whether our researchers are in the classroom, laboratory, or the field, they are dedicated to producing high-quality, innovative results.
The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences at Brock University is also home to two Canada Research Chairs who are recognized as being exceptional researchers and leaders in their field.
