General Academic Advising

The Brock General Academic Advising team supports students with general questions and inquiries related to important dates, academic policies, procedures, regulations, registration, and referrals to academic and non-academic student services. We support students at all stages of their academic journey, helping them navigate academic decisions (Academic Probation, Suspension, Debarment), academic transitions (change of major, adding a minor, returns to study) and other questions that may impact academic success. Through personalized advising, planning, and referrals, we connect students with the resources, strategies, and support they need to achieve their goals.

Program-Specific Academic Advising

Each faculty and program at Brock has dedicated Academic Advisors to support you with specific questions and inquiries pertaining to your program, including support with creating a tailored program plan to guide your academic progression and course registration, assistance with course overrides and course registration requests that are specific to your program, and acting as your departmental point of contact for inquiries about your specific program of study and any associated academic policies, procedures, and regulations, including graduation requirements. We recommend meeting with your program-specific Academic Advisor regularly and on an ongoing basis throughout your studies to ensure you are tracking successfully to meet all degree requirements.
