Students in UNPAID Practicum Placements (including students who are completing a combination of paid and unpaid hours) are required to submit the following:
- Pre-Placement Field Trip Due Diligence Checklist (2 pages) – TO BE SIGNED BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PLACEMENT EMPLOYER, not the student;
- Student Declaration of Understanding (2 pages);
- Letter to Placement Employers (2 pages); and
- Pre-Placement Safety Orientation Checklist (1 page).

Errors in uploading are generally related to file size. Please double check the quality and image settings of the scanner – higher quality and colour scanning increases file size dramatically.
Unpaid Practicum Placements
Students receive no funds from their placement employers (may be receiving stipends, honorariums or expense reimbursements). A practicum agreement must be in place outlining practicum student and practicum site/supervisor responsibilities.
