Dr. Cauchi is a behaviour analyst that has worked with people on the autism spectrum for over 20 years. Jessica received her Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Endicott College and is a doctoral level Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, as well as a Certified Progressive Behaviour Analyst – Autism Professional. She has married her teaching interests with a strong background in clinical practise, and brings this experience into her research and teaching.

Dr. Cauchi’s lab is focussed on strongly applied research in a variety of areas. Research on sexuality education for individuals with autism and related needs includes goal setting, parent training, and effective teaching practices. Additional research interests include conceptual analysis of rapport and effective training practices pertaining to rapport development in staff and supervisors, evaluation of assent-based practices across a variety of populations, and teaching and evaluation of other meaningful skill development across the lifetime.
