(formerly the Harassment Prevention Office) is a resource for all members of the Brock community (students, staff, faculty and visitors) to provide information, education, assistance and advice on a wide variety of issues related to harassment and discrimination. Our mandate and services address all forms of harassment and discrimination. This includes harassment and discrimination on the basis of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, gender identification, sexual orientation, age, marital status, family status, and disability, in accordance with the University's duties under Ontario and Federal law. We will also assist community members with more general harassment issues, including personal harassment, psychological harassment and bullying. We work in close partnership and cooperation with many other departments and services on campus to prevent harassment and discrimination from occurring and to quickly address incidents as they arise. We will assist any community member with issues or complaints of harassment and discrimination on any grounds and will assist that person to understand the range of options available to resolve the situation.
