Cancelling Before move-in

Applications can be cancelled anytime prior to a student moving into their room.  As move-in day approaches, there are escalating financial penalties according to the charts below.

Please note: Cancellation information for Brock Suites (upper year housing) can be found on the Brock Suites website.

Residence Application Cancellation Requests, must be submitted online to this webform. Please include your full name, student number and the reason for cancellation. An email notification confirming the cancellation will be sent to the Brock student Outlook email account once processed.

Students who have their residence room assignment rescinded because they have not paid the required residence fee(s) by the due date will forfeit their application fee.

Students that do not cancel their residence application before 9am of their move-in day will be considered an occupant and charged the applicable early withdrawal amount.  For example, a student that does not notify to cancel their residence application and does not show up on their move-in day will be charged 25% of their residence fees.

Should you live in residence for the full year your application fee will be applied to your residence fees.
