Celebration to honour Brock’s 63 Niagara Principal’s Scholarship recipients

MEDIA ADVISORY – MAY 14, 2025 – R0061

Media are invited to Brock on Thursday, May 15 for a celebration recognizing the University’s 2025 Niagara Principal’s Scholarship recipients.

Held in the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre, the event will honour 63 exceptional students from across the Niagara region who have each been awarded a $2,500 entrance scholarship to Brock. The awards recognize a combination of academic achievements, school and community involvement and financial need, with two graduating students selected from nearly every public, Catholic and private secondary school in the region.

Now in its 10th year, the Niagara Principal’s Scholarship program has awarded more than $1.6 million to local teens since its inception in 2015.

The evening celebration will bring together more than 120 students, family members, school administrators and educators.

Interested media can email Maryanne St. Denis, Associate Director, Strategic Communications, at [email protected] to confirm their attendance and arrange parking. Interview opportunities with students, families and Brock representatives will be available on site.
