The Environmental Sustainability Research Centre is thrilled to extend an invitation to you for our upcoming World Water Day Celebration, where we aim to raise awareness about water-focused research, learning opportunities and community action.

Rohini Patel (she/her) is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Indigenous Studies Department at McMaster University and Global Centre for Climate Change and Transboundary Waters. She researches and teaches topics in modern histories of science, technology, and empire, postcolonial and feminist STS, and environmental humanities. Patel holds a PhD in History from the University of Toronto.

We are looking for submissions from faculty, staff and students in the Brock community to showcase the following:

  1. Research Highlights: Experts in the field sharing their knowledge and experiences related to water (i.e., research posters)
  2. Educational Exhibits: Informative displays that showcase the significance of water.
  3. Course Highlights: Small posters to showcase courses that focus on water at Brock.
  4. Artistic Displays: Installations and exhibits that creatively communicate the importance of water.
  5. Interactive Stations: Hands-on workshops designed to engage attendees with water research, technology, practical tips on water conservation, etc.

We believe that by coming together as a community, we can inspire positive change and contribute to safeguarding our precious water resources.
