The Digital Marketing Micro-credential at Brock is an 8-week online program with live and virtual learning using simulated environments for immediate feedback on developing search and display ad campaigns, and real-life situation assignments.
Upon completion of studying Digital Marketing at Brock, learners will be able to use the fundamentals of digital marketing and apply them to successfully designing and managing websites for small and mid-sized business. Build and deploy a digital marketing strategy that will help that business grow with hands on knowledge of using Google Analytics, Social Media Marketing strategy, and Shopify. Learners will also obtain Brock Digital Media Marketing Certificate of Completion and a Shopify Digital Marketing Badge after successful completion of the entire micro-credential.

This course uses online advertising simulation tool called Mimic Pro Simulation which provides learners with live feedback on creating search, display, and shopping ad campaigns.

Search Engine Marketing | Allow your website to break out from the crowd. Build an advertising campaign targeted to your audience and see how it performs using a live simulation software. |

- Microsoft Office Skills including Microsoft Teams

For In-person and online studies.
Laptop: Windows 10 or higher or equivalent operating system with recommended 8 GB of RAM and at least 16 GB of free hard disk space and Wi-Fi capabilities.
Online studies only.
Access to reliable high-speed broadband internet access (Cable, DSL, LTE) with a minimum bandwidth of 15 Mbps is recommended.
Laptop must include integrated webcam and microphone.

To successfully complete your program, you will need to complete all the components outlined in your course. Your progress will be continuously evaluated using a variety of formative and/or summative assessments to receive a final mark. Information about these assessment methods will be provided in the Learning Management System on the first day of the program.
Intake Details
This micro-credential is delivered with asynchronous and synchronous learning components. Asynchronous (ASYNC) learning will become available the first week. Subsequent modules will be available every following week on Thursdays.
Synchronous (SYNC) sessions will occur weekly online and lectures are 2 hours long. SYNC sessions will be recorded and are not mandatory to attend.
