This is the session for non-Indigenous people who are new to offering a land acknowledgement and want to do it with good intentions, understand its purpose, and consider the ways they can be authentic versus just “saying the words.”
This course will be taught with the principles of safe and brave spaces. Learners are encouraged to ask questions about how they can support and offer a land acknowledgment without judgement.
