In this course, participants will explore their own as well as others’ understanding of the concept of culture. They will come to appreciate how culture can be defined by race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, language or any multitude of other diverse groups. With a clear understanding of culture, participants will be ready to examine the complexities of their own and others’ cultural values, beliefs and behaviours, and how this complexity affects their intercultural interactions.
