Brock’s Continuing Teacher Education Program is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment while delivering high-quality education.   • Master’s degree and/or Specialist designation in the subject area (or equivalent experience and education deemed acceptable by Brock’s Continuing and Professional Studies) 
  • OCT member in good standing 
  • Knowledge of current programs and policies in education in Ontario 
  • Substantial and recent teaching experience in Ontario 
  • Demonstrated leadership in working with teachers and the curriculum in Ontario
  • Master’s degree and/or Specialist designation in the subject area (or equivalent experience and education deemed acceptable by Brock’s Continuing and Professional Studies)
  • OCT membership in good standing
  • Extensive and recent teaching experience in Ontario K-12 schools, specifically in the subject area
  • Demonstrated leadership in working with Ontario teachers and curriculum
  • Awareness of current trends in educational research and learning technologies
  • Familiarity with adult learning, particularly in the online learning environment
  • Willingness to collaborate and to receive feedback
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Previous curriculum writing is an asset
