Guiding adolescent learners through the realities of the modern economy requires a dynamic and compassionate approach. Business education today serves as a powerful vehicle for teaching ethical global citizenship, digital literacy, and resilient problem-solving.
In this course, you will explore how to build a highly engaging and inclusive business studies program tailored specifically for your Grade 9 and 10 students. You will examine how to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset while actively dismantling corporate stereotypes and centering anti-oppressive frameworks. You will discover practical ways to integrate Universal Design for Learning (UDL), trauma-informed leadership practices, and meaningful Indigenous knowledge systems into your daily instruction. Throughout the course, you will gather and refine your ideas into a comprehensive professional portfolio.
By course end, you will have created an actionable Intermediate Business Studies Handbook that promotes psychological safety, critical thinking, and equitable transition pathways for every learner in your classroom.
