BURA supports retirees in developing and maintaining relationships with each other and with the University. As a social organization, it provides members with information relevant for retirees as well as monthly events for socializing, learning, and having FUN. All retired Brock employees and their partners are welcome to join.
President’s Message
Welcome to another year of the Brock University Retirees’ Association!
I’m pleased to take over the presidential reins from Rico Natale and continue the great work of Rico and last year’s BURA Executive on your behalf.
Your BURA Executive is looking forward to another event filled year. Of course, the newsletter and monthly coffee club events will continue and we are planning a slate of monthly events we think will be timely, pique your interest and, in some cases, may even be unusual!
Last year we up-dated our website and introduced a section we like to call “What Are They Up To Now”. It is an opportunity for members to share what’s happening in your lives. We hope to grow this initiative this year. Drop us a few lines, and even a photo, up-dating us on some of your travels, celebrations, and, in general, life’s events. Please stay in touch!
We hope to keep adding to the website so stay tuned.
