Casper Test

In addition to meeting both the minimum and division-specific academic requirements, applicants must complete a Casper test as part of their application for the 2025/2026 admission cycle.

Casper is an online, open-response situational judgment test measuring various personal and professional skills. The assessment requires 90-110 minutes.  Casper is used to further enhance fairness and objectivity in the applicant selection process. Please visit acuityinsights.app for details about the Casper test.

Acuity Insights offers a suite of online assessments. You are only required to take Casper as part of your Consecutive Teacher Education application to Brock. You are NOT required to complete the Duet assessment.

Testing Fees

There is a $50 test fee to complete the Casper test payable to Acuity Insights. If you are applying to multiple schools requiring the Canadian Teacher Education Casper test, you may select which schools you would like your test results sent to when registering for your test date.  There will be a $18 distribution fee per school payable to Acuity Insights.

Additional Casper Information

  • There are a limited number of dates available to complete the test.  If you do not complete the Casper test, your application will be incomplete and will not be considered for Fall 2025.
  • You do not need to arrange to have your Casper test results sent to Brock University.  All scoring of the test is conducted independently by Acuity Insights and will be sent directly to Brock. Brock will not review your test responses; we will only receive a score and use this along with your academic score to determine your final candidate ranking.
