Certificate Programs

Brock offers a variety of undergraduate credit Certificate programs that provide learners with knowledge in a specific topic area of focus. Undergraduate credit Certificate programs can be explored by visiting the 2022-2023 Undergraduate Calendar and selecting the Degrees, Certificates, Micro-Certificates and Minors option.

Admission requirements for undergraduate credit Certificate programs are the same as the admission requirements for undergraduate degree programs, with some exceptions. Review admission requirements by applicant type on our Applying to Undergraduate programs website, or review admission requirements by program on the Academic Programs website.

New applicants can apply to undergraduate credit Certificate programs using the applications and information outlined below.

Current Brock students and applicants who were previously registered at Brock and are interested in applying to to an undergraduate credit Certificate program must contact the Admissions office, by emailing admissions@brocku.ca, for the appropriate application form.

The below undergraduate credit Certificate programs must be applied to through the department directly and are not available on the undergraduate credit Certificate programs electronic application. Interested applicants can review the 2022-2023 Undergraduate Calendar for more information:

  • Certificate in Aboriginal Adult Education
  • Gidayaamin Indigenous Certificate
  • Certificate in Indigenous Language
  • Aboriginal Women’s Certificate
  • Professional Master’s Preparation Certificate – Business
  • Certificate in Film Production
  • Certificate in Television Production

Brock also offers non-credit Certificate programs through Professional and Continuing Studies and individual departments and faculties, where applicants can explore and apply to these opportunities following the application instructions outlined on the Professional and Continuing Studies website.

Micro-Certificate Programs

Brock offers a variety of undergraduate credit Micro-Certificates that are short in duration and focus on a specific topic for those who want to quickly upskill. Undergraduate credit Micro-Certificate programs can be explored by visiting the 2022-2023 Undergraduate Calendar and selecting the Degrees, Certificates, Micro-Certificates and Minors option.

There are no formal admission requirements for undergraduate credit Micro-Certificate programs.

New applicants can apply to undergraduate credit Micro-Certificates by completing the Open Studies application available below, followed by the Micro-Certificate Declaration Form.

Current Brock students and previously registered Brock students who wish to obtain an undergraduate credit Micro-Certificate through the completion of the required degree credits should complete the Micro-Certificate Declaration Form only.

New applicants can also explore and apply for non-credit Micro-Certificate programs by following the steps outlined on the Professional and Continuing Studies website.

Micro-Credential Programs

Brock offers non-credit micro-credential programs that can be explored and applied to through the Professional and Continuing Studies website.

Continuing Education

All other Continuing Education learning opportunities can be explored and applied to through the Professional and Continuing Studies website.

Applications will continue to be accepted after the deadline where space is available. Application fees are non-refundable.
