January 26 - Annual Rodman Hall Seminar Series. This event includes the launch of ESRC (formerly BESRU), and four presentations by ESRC researchers on one of ESRC's main themes, Water.
Speakers include Tim Heinmiller, Diane Dupont, Steven Renzetti, Ryan Plummer, Julia Baird and Samantha Purdy.

2011

BESRU Hosts Workshop on “Social-ecological Inventories: Building Resilience to Environmental Change within Biosphere Reserves”

Chaired and co-hosted 2-Day Experts Workshop with Swedish and Canadian scientists/social scientists/students 7-8 March, 2011 in partnership with Environment Canada Adaptation and Impacts Research Section (AIRS), Stockholm Environmental Institute, and Brock Environmental Sustainability Research Unit colleagues

BESRU is introduced to the Brock Community at our inaugural seminar
Speakers included Richard Mitchell, Asa Swartling and more to introduce BESRU to both the Brock and Niagara communities.
