Research Centre and Institute Applications and Renewals

The Senate Research and Scholarship Policy Committee considers and advises on policy regarding research and scholarship in the University, and evaluates and makes recommendations on proposals for the establishment of new research institutes & research centres, the continuation of established research institutes & research centres, and the disbanding of research institutes & research centres. Submissions of applications for a new Research Centre or Institute or renewal of an existing Research Centre or Institute should be emailed to the Office of the University Secretariat, Governance and Policy at [email protected] to be reviewed by the Research and Scholarship Policy Committee (RSPC) for recommendation to Senate for approval.
