The Master of Sport Management (MSM) equips students with the practical skills and professional knowledge needed to pursue a wide range of careers in sport management. This interdisciplinary graduate program takes a holistic approach, focusing on data-driven decision-making and strategic development in sport management. The curriculum blends theory and practice to develop the critical skills required to meet the demands of the industry.

Admission requirements

  • Check the university requirements and the program requirements
  • Complete the online application and submit the non-refundable application fee
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field (e.g., sport management, business management, communications) from an accredited institution with a minimum average of 80%
  • Completed undergraduate courses equivalent to Introduction to (Sport) Marketing, Introduction to (Sport) Finance or Accounting, and Introduction to Statistical Analysis/Quantitative Methods/Research Methods
  • Statement of intent (convey the applicant’s rationale for applying to the program with an emphasis on their experience and learning from practical placements and should describe how the program will help to advance their professional and academic aspirations)
  • A current resume/CV
  • Two references; at least one referee must be academic
