Antisemitism: Law, Justice, and Decolonization in a Time of Genocide

October 30th, 5PM – 7PM in PLZ600

“Israel’s policies and actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide in Article II of the United Nations Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (1948).

–International Association of Genocide Scholars, “Resolution on the Situation in Gaza,” August 31, 2025

As the world watches Israel’s devastating war against the Palestinian people, we are seeing a sharp rise in accusations that criticism of Israel is equivalent to antisemitism. We are pleased to welcome this panel of scholars, who are associated with the Jewish Faculty Network, as they consider the weaponization of antisemitism from a variety of angles – at a time when actual antisemitism is surging dangerously and yet going unaddressed.

We are pleased to welcome scholars associated with the Jewish Faculty Network, to share their perspectives.

A Palestinian buffet will be provided
