Purpose
The International Student Working Group (ISWG) addresses the systemic barriers and inequities faced by international students at Brock University. We take an anti-racist, decolonial, and intersectional approach to improving institutional policies, campus services, and student wellbeing.
CURRENT PRIORITIES (2025-2026)
- Increase support for students navigating immigration and legal precarity.
- Advocate for fair employment practices and protection against exploitation.
- Improve cultural accessibility of counselling, equity, and support services.
- Build stronger coordination between International Services, Student Wellness & Accessibility Centre, HRE, and other units.
- Centre international student leadership and voices in all initiatives.
