The SAS Student Advisory Panel was established in 2025 as part of a broader review of services and supports for students with disabilities at Brock University. Formed in response to student feedback, the committee represents a collaborative effort between Student Accessibility Services staff, SAS students, and allies. Its purpose is to discuss and provide input on accessibility-related matters, helping to shape and improve the services and support model for students with disabilities.

The SAS Student Advisory Panel is dedicated to representing the diverse student body at Brock University. The committee includes student representatives from undergraduate, graduate, professional and other (e.g., certificate) programs who reflect a diverse range of disabilities, lived experiences, genders, ethnicities/race, and backgrounds.While the majority of seats are reserved for registered SAS students, two seats are reserved for general student body members who demonstrate commitment to allyship and advocacy in alignment with SAS.Membership on the SAS Student Advisory Panel is determined through an application processes. Applicants are vetted by a selection committee.
