Experiential learning
Experiential education would not be possible without the valuable partnerships we maintain with community organizations and businesses. Experiential learning projects not only enhance student learning, but also provide our community partners with student talent and knowledge to address organizational needs.

Community Partner Testimonials
Our experience was wonderful and rather motivating. The students challenged us with new ideas, new approaches, they are very insightful. I hope that in return, we also challenged the students – challenged them to dig deep within themselves to think outside of the box, to understand HR factors from a non-profit/charity perspective. I would be thrilled to work on a future project!
Folk Arts Multicultural Centre
I am continuously impressed by how well the students prepare and present their ideas. The presentations and ideas generated are great as they really push me to think differently about my case and challenge me to give feedback beyond that was great!
COBS Bread St. Catharines
I can tell you without any hesitation that {the students] who participated were a pleasure to work with, full of energy and took the work we were all doing very seriously. It was also a pleasure watching the students working side by side with nurses, physicians and other health providers in a seamless provision of service that left many people very impressed with the organization and the delivery of the service.
Centre de Santé Communautaire Hamilton/Niagara
I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with one of Brock’s Mater of Professional Kinesiology (MPK) students. The student was confident, knowledgeable, and most of all, a true professional. Moreover, the MPK student was a big part of the transition from a small business to a not for profit incorporation and ultimately was a big part of the construction of the foundation for our not for profit corporation. We could not have done it without him!
