Accessible Emergency Procedures, Plans or Public Safety Information
Ontario’s Accessibility Standard for Information and Communications requires that, upon request, we provide our publicly available emergency procedures, plans, or public safety information in an accessible format or with communication supports to persons with disabilities. https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/110191#BK13 [Section 13. (1)(2)] Accessible formats may include, but are not limited to, large print, recorded audio and electronic formats, Braille, and other formats.
Communication supports may include but are not limited to, plain language, sign language, and other supports. All requests for emergency procedures, plans, or public safety information in an accessible format or with communication support, will be provided as soon as possible.
To request in-person training, a portable training key, or more information regarding alternate training formats or communication support.
