Research Opportunities
The Bfit Centre values innovative research and its impact on health and well-being. Each of the respective programs housed at the Centre has ongoing opportunities for community members to participate in research.
If interested in recruiting participants through the Brock Functional Inclusive Training Centre (Bfit). To keep things organized and fair for our members, we ask all researchers to submit a short intake form before any Bfit-related recruitment begins.
This process helps us:
- track and coordinate requests,
- make sure recruitment fits with Bfit programming and space,
- and close the loop with our community by sharing results in plain language once your study is complete.
Please complete the intake form here.
What to expect:
- The form takes ~10 minutes to complete
- You’ll tell us what you’d like from Bfit (e.g., an email to members, on-site recruiting, or use of space)
- If you’re student-led or using Bfit spaces, we’ll ask a few extra details.
- If REB has already cleared your research, please have your file number and letter ready to input
- We aim to respond within 5 business days
As part of this process, we require individuals to send us a 1-page “Research Snapshot” after your study is completed so that we can share outcomes with the Bfit community. More details, including required submission timelines for the snapshot, are shared about this within the request form.
