Letter of Permission Application Steps



General Admission Notes
If you are interested in studying at Brock University on a Letter of Permission (LOP) you must first contact your Registrar’s Office or refer to your university calendar for important policies and guidelines related to studying at another university. Entry to a specific course(s) may be subject to meeting prerequisite requirements, as well as space availability. LOP applicants are encouraged to consider and be prepared to register in an alternate course(s). The application fee is non-refundable.

Choosing the Correct Application
Submit the online Letter of Permission Application with the appropriate application fee. Then:

  • Have your home institution fax the LOP to Office of the Registrar, Admissions at (905) 988-5488. Forward the original copy immediately by mail; or
  • Send the LOP by regular mail to Office of the Registrar, Admissions, 500 Glenridge Avenue, St. Catharines, ON, L2S 3A1; or
  • Have your home institution send the LOP electronically in PDF format (only if your institution has an electronic LOP policy)

Once we are in receipt of both documents you will be notified of your admission to Brock University and you will be issued with a Brock student ID number.

Supplementary Document Submission
No supplementary documents are required.
