AFTER STUDYING MODA, EMPLOYEES WILL BE ABLE TO:
- Define the Internet of Things.
- Use the technology stack of sensors, gateways, cloud in IoT.
- Collect, explore and analyze the data in the cloud.
- Implement cybersecurity to secure data
- Report and recommend changes to improve productivity
Module | Module Description |
1: Intro to IoT | Get introduced to the Internet of Things (IoT) and how it is applied to Industry 4.0. Learn about Smart Digital Twin and the cloud. Learn about the IoT platform covering the types of sensors, gateways, cloud and analytics platforms that will be used in building a Smart Factory. |
2: Sensors | An in depth look into the various sensors that will be installed into the Smart Factory. Learners will know all the various types of sensors that can be used in the Smart Factory, understand how they signal their data and learn how to properly calibrate them for accurate data collection. |
3: Gateways | Gateways connect your data to the cloud. Learners will connect the sensors to the gateway through use of various connectors and configurations to best suit the practical needs of your factory. |
4: The Cloud | Navigate and understand The Cloud based software. Be introduced to the databases and begin collecting data. Learners will also be taught how to secure this data and protect their systems from external threats. |
5: Data Analytics | In The Cloud, collect and process data from multiple points. Learn visual programming through Node Red. Set up rules, notifications and alerts. Learn the MTechHun IoT Tech Stack. |
Work Integrated Learning | Take your gained knowledge of these systems and begin implementing in the workplace. You’ll have an opportunity to participate in experiential learning workshops and further enhance your skills. |
