Police & Uniform Recruiting Fair

This event will give students the opportunity to meet face to face with a variety of Police Service Recruiters and representatives from the various police units. Last year the following police units attended along with Toronto Firefighers:

  • Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P)
  • Niagara Regional Police Service
  • Hamilton Police Service
  • Peel Regional Police
  • Halton Regional Police Service
  • Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
  • ...and more!

Recruiters are looking to provide information to students and graduates and answer questions on recruitment related issues such as how to apply; examination procedures; required training; salary and benefits; and career opportunities within the different units such as Emergency Task Unit (SWAT), Major Crimes Unit, Canine Unit, Detective Office, and Underwater Search and Recovery.

Shop for Jobs Fair

Where: Pen Centre

Time: 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Are you looking for a part-time job off-campus? Then this is the event for you. 

The Pen Centre is Niagara’s largest shopping mall featuring a wide range of retail and food services. It is only minutes from Brock University and a perfect location for part-time work. Find out what opportunities are out there for you by attending the Shop for Jobs Fair at the Pen Centre.

Details on Participtating Stores.  This event is in partnership with Career Services Brock University, MyCareer at Niagara College and The Pen Centre. Also, don't forget to fill out a ballot for your chance to win a $100 Gift Card from the Pen Centre.  Ballots will be available at the event once you swipe your student card at the Community Booth (near The Bay and the Greenearth store at the Pen Centre).

Niagara Employment Crawl

Learn about career opportunities and discover why Niagara is your region to live, work and STAY!

The Niagara Employment Crawl (NEC) is your opportunity to take a guided tour of various businesses located throughout the Niagara region to learn about potential career opportunities, explore the geographic beauty and infrastructure in the region. 

The 2nd Annual Niagara Employment Crawl!  Travel by guided bus throughout Niagara to:

- Explore careers, industries and sectors within the region
- Learn about the geographic beauty, diversity and infrastructure that Niagara has to offer
- Network and engage with community leaders, young professionals, students, hiring managers and employers from the area

Two guided buses will "crawl" you through some of Niagara's coolest and biggest employers.  A continential breakfast available at the Pre-Event, and Lunch will be provided for this all-day event, as well as your transportation.

Our ultimate goal is to show you, the new upcoming young professionals, what the Niagara region has to offer after graduation and to expose you to cool careers and growing industries in Niagara!  Not to mention to highlight the beautiful geographic area of Niagara and all that Niagara has to offer outside of what you see on a day-to-day basis.  All of this for just $10!!!!

Smart casual dress and appropriate footwear is required for participation.
