Major disruption of Brock’s network services (May 23 to 26)

As part of Information Technology Services’ continuing effort to ensure the availability, reliability and performance of Brock’s computer technology infrastructure, ITS will be replacing the computer systems that are currently hosting the Brock Portal (my.brocku.ca) and student/admin systems (BrockDB, LION, DBBrock, and Bears services).

Registration delays at Brock caused by a surge of online activity Monday morning have been addressed and the registration system is now operating normally. IT staff at the University implemented upgrades and repairs late yesterday and early this morning resulting in improvements to database response times.
