Since its launch in 2002, the MA in Social Justice and Equity Studies (SJES) has gained a reputation for excellent graduate education. We offer individualized academic mentoring and coursework to train students in conducting and communicating important research. Our faculty, students and graduates generate much needed thinking about issues of social justice and equity to inform and challenge policy makers, organizations and social movements. Our research informs and inspires our contributions to activism and to the betterment of our diverse communities.
If you have strong academic skills that you wish to further develop through systematic, theoretically-guided examinations of social justice issues within a group of thoughtful peers, this program is for you! Please contact us for further information.
