Through curriculum that combines theoretical insights with hands-on design experiences, this program revolutionizes engineering design by integrating sustainability into the built environment to harmonize environmental responsibility with economic and societal progress. With green engineering at the forefront, you will develop skills in designing, developing, and operating engineering systems that responsibly generate and use energy and valuable resources, leading to careers across diverse sectors such as energy, manufacturing, construction, environmental consulting, and governmental policy development.

Admission requirements

  • A four-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution, in engineering or a related applied science discipline, with a minimum average of 75% in the last two years of study.
  • Applicants holding a related degree who are lacking sufficient background may be required to complete additional courses beyond those outlined as part of a conditional offer of admission.
  • Applicants that are required to provide proof of English language proficiency must meet the standard graduate minimum requirements (IELTS 6.5 overall, with no band below 6.0, or an approved equivalent), as outlined on the Graduate English Language Proficiency webpage.

In addition to the online application and payment of the non-refundable application fee, applicants are required to submit transcripts from all previous post-secondary study.
