Professional Education (MPEd)

The Master in Professional Education (MPEd) provides educators with the professional knowledge and practical skills needed to address complex challenges in today’s learning environments. This fully online graduate program offers three interdisciplinary fields of study, focusing on inclusive education, digital innovation and leadership. The curriculum blends research and practice to support educators in advancing equity, engagement, and well-being in diverse educational contexts.

Entry point:

  • Fall (full-time)
  • The first intake of this program is planned for Fall 2027

  • Course-based – 6 terms (2 years)

Admission requirements

  • Check the university requirements 
  • Complete the online application and submit the non-refundable application fee
  • A four-year Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, from an accredited institution with a minimum average of 75% over the last two years of full-time undergraduate study
  • Successful teaching or other professional experience is an asset 
  • Applicants who have not completed their undergraduate degree at a university where English was the primary language of instruction will be required to provide proof of English Language Proficiency 
    • IELTs Academic Total Score of 7.5 with no band score lower than a 7.0
    • TOEFL iBT Score Overall Score of 102 with no section under 27 
  • You will need to submit your transcripts as well as the following program-specific materials:
    • Two references (at least one academic)
    • A statement of intent, no more than one page in length, outlining the rationale for applying to the program
    • An up-to-date CV/resume
