Professional Education (MPEd)

This fully online program provides educators with the professional knowledge and practical skills needed to address complex challenges in today’s learning environments. The program offers three interdisciplinary fields of study, focusing on inclusive education, digital innovation, and leadership. Through curriculum that blends research and practice, you’ll be prepared to advance equity, engagement, and well-being in diverse educational contexts.

Admission requirements

  • A four-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution, with a minimum average of 75% in the last two years of study.
  • Successful teaching or other professional experience is an asset.
  • Applicants that are required to provide proof of English language proficiency must achieve a minimum IELTS score of 7.5 with no subtest below 7.0, or an approved equivalent, as outlined on the Graduate English Language Proficiency webpage.

Application materials

In addition to the online application and payment of the non-refundable application fee, applicants are required to submit:

  • Transcripts from all previous post-secondary study.
  • Two (2) references (at least one academic)
  • A statement of intent, no more than one (1) page in length, outlining the rationale for applying to the program.
  • An up-to-date CV/Resume
