The Library Makerspace is a collaborative space that is open to the larger community to gain access to new and emerging technologies. The technology in the Makerspace is expansive and includes audio production, photo/video production, 3D prototyping, virtual reality, robotics, and digital prototyping.
While everyone has access to the space and associated workshops and tutorials, Brock students, staff and faculty have additional access to borrow equipment and reserve creative lab space. Visitors can use specialty tools and software on site, or take a workshop to learn more about such topics as 3D modelling, carving and engraving, podcasting, etc.
