The Ontario/Rhône-Alpes (ORA) Summer Research Program is your opportunity to spend 3 months at a university in the beautiful Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France engaged in research projects relevant to your studies. Immerse yourself in French culture while advancing academically and professionally.

Academic Credit
Students may be eligible to receive academic credit for this program if approved by Brock faculty. Please speak to your academic advisor to find out.
Cost
Students should plan for the following expenses:
- Travel expenses including flight and other associated costs

Process & Timeline
1.
Apply.
Complete Brock University’s Summer Abroad Application and pay the application fee. Deadline is typically December. Check the Applications & Deadlines page for up-to-date information.
2.
Interview with Brock International.
If your application meets requirements, Brock International will schedule an interview with you.
3.
Apply to ORA.
If your interview is successful, the International Learning team will direct you to complete and submit the ORA application.
4.
Acceptance and planning.
Brock International will contact you with your placement if you are accepted into the ORA program. After acceptance, your host institution will contact you to begin preparations for travel and study.

Program Requirements
- Must be a current undergraduate student at Brock
- Must be in good academic standing with a minimum 65% average
- Must have completed a year at Brock prior to the anticipated start date of the summer program
Application Requirements
Your application package is submitted through our online Summer Abroad Application form and must include:
- Statement of Purpose – a 1-page, double-spaced statement of your personal, academic and professional reasons for wanting to participate in this internship program.
- Payment of $20 Program Fee (link to payment provided on application form)
