What You Need to Know
Applicants must submit a completed application form along with supporting documents such as official transcript(s) and proof of English language proficiency.

Brock accepts study abroad applicants for Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer Terms. Applications must be submitted by the following dates:
- For Spring/Summer Term – February 15
- For Fall Term or full academic year – April 15
- For Winter Term only – October 15
Tuition fees vary by program. Please visit Student Accounts and Financial Aid (SAFA) to see an up-to-date listing of tuition and ancillary fees or to use the tuition fee estimator to build your budget.
Some of the fees you can expect to pay in addition to tuition are:
- Universal Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) – this is mandatory health insurance coverage for all international students. Visit the International Student Supports UHIP page for more information.
- BUSU Health Insurance – mandatory fee for all international students
- BUSU Dental Plan – mandatory fee for all international students
- Universal Transit Pass – mandatory for all students taking 1.5+ credits.
- Health Services Fee – mandatory fee to cover operating costs of Student Health Services on campus.

Residence and meal plan fees can be found on Brock’s Housing Services website.
Students studying for only one semester will pay for half of the residence and meal plan fees indicated on the residence website where applicable.
Visiting students are eligible to request courses from many of our academic departments. Your academic history as well as the availability of space in the course will determine whether you can register.
Course registration for Fall and Winter Terms takes place in late July. Students considering studying at Brock in the Winter Term are encouraged to apply early.

Course Restrictions:
- Internship and experiential placement courses (such as Co-op and community placements)
- GAME program courses
- Teacher Service Education courses (8P00/8F00 and above)
Graduate Course Options
You will find a comprehensive list of all available courses by subject in the Graduate Calendar.
Please note:
- Visiting students are restricted to registering in programs that offer course-based graduate classes.
- Research-based courses are not available.
- Acceptance into a Graduate program is considered on a case-by-case basis and is therefore not guaranteed, even if all admission requirements are met. Students must be approved by the appropriate Graduate Program Director in order to be officially accepted.
