Survivor Support Groups

A survivor support group is a gathering of individuals who have experienced trauma or adversity.

It provides a safe and confidential space for survivors to come together, share their experiences, and receive emotional support, validation, and understanding, from others who have been through similar challenges.

These groups also empower others to heal and cope with the aftermath of their experiences and are often facilitated by trained professionals or individuals with expertise in trauma support. Participants can discuss their feelings, thoughts, and challenges without fear of judgment, while also benefiting from the shared wisdom and coping strategies of fellow survivors.
