Arts House
The Arts House LLC is open to students in all faculties who have a passion for the arts (music, visual arts, film, drama, etc.) and wish to live in a community with like-minded people. These students will have the opportunity to network with other artists, showcase their skills, and learn about opportunities in our local community. Niagara is developing as a cultural hub with the development of the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts and we encourage you to come and leave your creative stamp.
This LLC will focus on the Arts and Culture domain of the Campus Wide Co-curriculum.
Fitness Fans and Healthy Plans
This LLC offers students from all faculties the opportunity to meet some fitness partners as well as motivators for healthy eating. Motivation to stay healthy and active will be the key to success in this LLC. With the support of Student Health Services and Recreation Services, students will be on the right track to healthy living. Setting and maintaining healthy living goals will truly lead to a feeling of accomplishment at the end of the year.
This LLC will focus on the Health and Wellness domain of the Campus Wide Co-curriculum.
Gaming
This community is open to students who are interested in learning more about how video games influence learning and socializing in an online world. Students involved in this LLC will engage with various forms of online gaming, while having in person components to provide a social atmosphere. Students will also be able to connect with faculty, staff, and student leaders about opportunities to get involved on and off campus.
This community will focus on the Innovative & Creative Thinking domain of the Campus Wide Co-Curriculum.
Political Science
This community is open to students who are interested in Law and Politics who want to become better members and effective leaders of the political community. Students in this community will have support and direction available from student leaders, faculty and others in our local community.
This community will focus on the Global Awareness domain of the Campus Wide Co-curriculum.
Two-Spirit, LGBTQ+ and Allies
This LLC is open to students who are interested in learning about sexual orientation and gender identity, with a focus on social justice for Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and asexual) persons and their allies. This will help ease the transition to the Residence community and provide students an environment where all residents feel celebrated and empowered. Preference will be given to residence students who self-identify as a member of Two-Spirit and/or LGBTQ+ communities or an ally.
This LLC will focus on the Diversity and Inclusion & Personal Growth domain of the Campus Wide Co-curriculum.
Volunteerism and Leadership
This LLC is open to students in all faculties who are interested in developing their leadership skills and also participating in a variety of volunteer opportunities in the community. This will help ease the transition to the St. Catharines area, help students connect to the local community and develop strong skills to use throughout your time at Brock and beyond.
This LLC will focus on the Community Engagement and Leadership & Teamwork domains of the Campus Wide Co-curriculum.
