ExperienceBU is your gateway to the Brock experience. Find and connect to student clubs and organizations, events, workshops, communities, services and supports, and co-curricular experiences.

FAQ
Your login for ExperienceBU is the same as your login for all other Brock sites. Using your student e-mail address and password, enter your credentials by clicking the top right hand corner button which says “Sign In” on the home page of Experience BU. If your password is expired or needs to be changed, you will need to complete that task prior to signing on to ExperienceBU.
Click the “Events” tab at the top of the page. From there, a list of upcoming events will populate. You can narrow down your search for upcoming events by keyword, date, theme, category and perks (like free food!). For more details, click here.
Go to ExperienceBU and select the “Organizations” tab at the top of the page to navigate through different organization pages. Click here for further instructions.
Once you search through the many organization pages on ExperienceBU and decide you’d like to join one, go to the organization page and click “join”. If you do not see a “join” button, you can always connect with the primary contact of the organization by
clicking the “contact” button. For more information, click here.
If you decide you no longer want to be a member of a particular organization, head to
the initial of your first name in the top right hand corner once you are logged in to
Experience BU and select “My Memberships”. Select the organization you would like
to remove yourself from and click “Leave Organization”. For more information, click here.
You can receive recognition for attending events, workshops and programs listed on ExperienceBU. On the home page of ExperienceBU you should see a box with a yellow banner to the right that says “Have you checked out the campus wide co-curriculum (CWC)?”. Click “Paths” underneath that banner and you will find 10 different co-curricular domains where you can report your experiences.
Completing all of the required and elective items, as well as reflections, will allow you to work towards getting your Certificate of Engagement. When it comes time to graduate, you will also be recognized for completing the CWC by receiving red cords.

Once logged in to ExperienceBU, click on your initial or photo on the top right of your screen and select Account. Then, select Notifications to change how you receive information from ExperienceBU (e-mail, text, or system notifications).
Once logged in to ExperienceBU, click on your initial or photo on the top right of your screen and select Submissions. Filter through your submissions using the categories at the top (Forms, Elections, Organization Registrations, Events) and select the submission category you would like to review. The Status column will show the status of the submission and the Action column provides the option to edit, print, or delete your submission.
On the bottom right hand side of the home page of ExperienceBU you will see a variety of resources to help you troubleshoot technical issues. If you are unable to troubleshoot the technical issue, e-mail experiencebu@brocku.ca and a staff member will follow-up to assist you.

If you are trying to enter dates on ExperienceBU and the month and day are being swapped, it is due to an issue with your language settings on your web browser.
All calendars on the ExperienceBU site are formatted for English (US) settings. In order to ensure proper calendar behavior, you will need to adjust your browser Language settings to English (US).
You can Google how to change the language settings on your particular browser, but typically this setting can be changed by going to Settings/Options > Languages
